The “Panlongshan” brand ultrafine oil-well cement developed and produced by Kangjing New Materials Co., Ltd. is a new type of ultrafine inorganic mineral material manufactured through physical crushing, grinding, shaping, grading, and sorting. Its particle size ranges from 1 to 10 μm. This cement boasts characteristics such as strong permeability, high setting strength, dimensional stability, and excellent thermal resistance. It can also be custom-produced according to specific customer engineering requirements. The ultrafine oil-well cement is specially designed for cementing operations and leak-sealing projects in oil wells, gas wells, and shale oil and gas wells. Its primary function is to bond and seal the casing against the surrounding rock formations, effectively isolating oil, gas, and water layers within the formation to prevent cross-contamination. This ensures the establishment of a wellbore channel that efficiently directs hydrocarbons from the reservoir to the surface while maintaining excellent isolation. After solidification, the cement exhibits a dense structure with high compressive strength and a sealing efficiency rate of up to 99.9%, providing an effective and rapid solution to wellbore instability. It features excellent permeability and reliability, higher strength and durability, superior thermal resistance, and environmental friendliness—leaving no pollution to the surrounding environment. The cement is easy to use, has good dispersibility, and its particle size is precisely controllable. It can be used in combination with additives and can be formulated by adjusting the types and proportions of different components to suit various geological formations. It effectively improves filter cake quality and reduces filtration loss under high temperature and pressure conditions. It demonstrates outstanding sealing performance on low-permeability core samples. In particular, this ultrafine material contains nanoparticles that can effectively stimulate and seal tiny pores in oil and gas wells, shale formations, micro-fractured zones, and low-permeability strata, thereby enhancing wellbore stability and reducing drilling accidents.

The ultra-fine oil-well cement produced by Kangjing New Materials under the brand name “Panlongshan” boasts a particle size distribution that surpasses the advanced level of similar foreign products. This slurry, formulated with nanoparticles, exhibits exceptional fluidity and spreadability, enabling it to penetrate even fine sand-silt mixtures, silt layers, and loamy soil layers that are typically considered impermeable. It can be used at high water-to-cement ratios while maintaining high strength and flexural resistance even under such conditions, thereby meeting diverse construction requirements such as leak sealing, strengthening, and repair. Moreover, it achieves both high durability and cost-effectiveness. This cement is particularly well-suited for grouting in underground mining operations in complex geological environments, reinforcing oil and gas well casings, strengthening and repairing hydraulic and hydroelectric dam structures, and repairing concrete cracks and waterproofing/leak-sealing applications in subway stations and other buildings, demonstrating outstanding performance in all these areas.

Characteristics of Ultra-Fine Oilwell Cement

Ultrafine oil well cement can be blended with conventional, standard oil well cement to compensate for the strength and self-compacting properties of oil well cement. Ultrafine oil well cement features adjustable slurry density and thickening time; pre-mixed oil well slurries formulated with this cement exhibit excellent resistance to settling and good pumpability. When injected into well sections maintained at specified temperature and pressure conditions, the slurry rapidly sets and hardens, developing sufficient strength. After solidification, the oil well cement slurry demonstrates outstanding impermeability, stability, and corrosion resistance. It is suitable for casing repair and leak sealing; sealing of top water, bottom water, and interlayer water in oil reservoirs; plugging of perforations and annular channels outside the casing (repairing the cement sheath); and can be injected under either sub- or super-fracture pressures of the rock formation in the sealed well section.
