The ultrafine cement brand “Panlongshan,” developed and produced by Kangjing New Materials, is a new inorganic mineral grouting material made through physical crushing, grinding, shaping, grading, and sorting. Its particle size ranges from 1 to 10 μm and it features strong permeability, high setting strength, and excellent dimensional stability. Like organic chemical grouting fluids, it exhibits outstanding permeability and injectability, while offering superior strength and durability and causing no pollution to the surrounding environment. The commonly used ultrafine cement models developed and launched for the domestic market include: ① K700 (Grade II), ② K1000 (1000 mesh), ③ K1340 (Grade I), ④ K2000 (2000 mesh), and others. We can also produce ultrafine cements with even higher specifications according to customer requirements. Particle sizes can be as fine as below 1 μm, and the particle size distribution can be customized. The particle size distribution of the “Panlongshan” ultrafine cement produced by Kangjing New Materials surpasses the advanced level of similar foreign products. The slurry made from this ultrafine cement with such small particle sizes boasts exceptional fluidity and spreadability, enabling it to penetrate into micro-fractured rock formations as well as fine sand-silt mixtures, silt layers, and loess layers. It can be used under high water-cement ratios, maintaining high strength and flexural resistance even at these ratios, thus meeting various construction requirements for grouting and injection under different conditions and achieving both high durability and cost-effectiveness. This ultrafine cement is suitable for a wide range of applications, including underground mining grouting in complex geological environments, drilling and oil-gas well plugging and leak-stopping, reinforcement and repair of hydraulic and hydroelectric dam structures, waterproofing and leak-stopping for subways and tunnels, repair and waterproofing of concrete cracks and voids in buildings, restoration of historic architecture, anti-seepage treatment of nuclear power plant surrounding rock, disposal of tailings and solid waste, preparation of ultra-high-strength concrete, and soft ground improvement projects.

Characteristics of Ultrafine Cement

Ultrafine cement-based grouting material composed of nanoparticles boasts high fluidity, permeability, and injectability. It exhibits higher strength and durability than organic chemical grouts and is free from aging phenomena. This material is suitable for a wide range of geotechnical applications, including foundation reinforcement in various geological environments, waterproofing and leak-sealing repairs for underground structures, solidification of sandy soil layers, reinforcement of complex foundations, and grouting treatments for diverse intricate structures—such as coal mines, gold mines, nuclear power plants, hydroelectric facilities, tunnels, subways, mine shafts, dams, highways, oil wells, and underground impermeable surrounding rock formations.

Composed of non-toxic, harmless inorganic mineral materials, its chemical composition ensures that it causes no pollution to the surrounding environment—such as water, soil, and air. Compared with other grouting materials, it offers higher safety.

It is easy to construct and operate, cheaper than organic chemical grouting fluids, and does not age after grouting. It boasts excellent durability and is compatible with any type of grouting equipment. Any grouting method can be used for its application, making it highly cost-effective.
